Blurry Text w/ Shades of Grey

Today I found something neat. While working on a project that needed cross-browser compatibility for a DIV class that had a photographic background and a transparent, reversed-text class applied to the overlying layer. Did that make sense to you? No? Well it doesn't make sense to me either, but I still needed to figure out a way to make this happen in code and not in a photoshop slice. So. I cam accross a MSDN article which taught me all sorts of ways to provide transparent layered information over all sorts of backgrounds, including photo images. Also in the tutorial was this neat smudgy black grey text.

pretty cool, n'est pas?
